‘I worked with Mark recently putting the finishing touches to multiple cuts and versions of an archaeological documentary about Cleopatra. As a P/D it was a pleasure to work with Mark in the edit. I worked with him on two episodes to tight deadlines which involved moving back and forth between episodes as we awaited feedback. With this challenging schedule Mark quickly got to grips with the style of the series and I found him to be very fast, efficient but also full of great ideas to the make the most of the rushes.He was also just a lovely guy to the spend weeks in a small room with.

I’m just finishing an 8 week stint with Mark having never worked with him before. The show we’re working on is quite a difficult one - loads of footage and tons of back referencing between scenes which can make it a difficult edit. Plus there are lots of visual effects and the pacing is very important. Mark has done a superb job - he’s had to do a lot on his own as I’m working across two shows. He’s managed to sift through the footage and find the good bits and has made the shows flow perfectly. Also his cuts have been spot on in terms of pacing and use of FX. On top of that Mark is a pleasure to work with, happy to take direction and make his own suggestions as well. I’m really keen to work with him again and would recommend him 100%
